Kristina Martinez teaches the Culinary Arts program at Sylvandale which includes a real-world work experience via food preparation for the Bear Bistro. She has over ten years of experience as a Family and Consumer Science educator with the majority of her teaching focusing on Career Pathway experiences for students. Students practice culinary skills as well as safety and sanitation procedures that adhere to the Culinary industry standards. Kristina is a New Mexico State University Alumna for both her undergrad and Master’s degrees-Go Aggies! Outside of work Kristina enjoys spending time with her two daughters at music festivals and the beach.
