Culinary Arts
This course provides the fundamentals and principles of the art and science of cooking as well as occupationally specific opportunities for students to participate in a learning experience that combines classroom instruction with career experiences by preparing meals for teachers at the Bear Bistro. Emphasis is placed on kitchen math, measuring, safety and sanitation, management and production skills, and current health trends in a kitchen setting.
