About Me
This is my second year as Sylvandale’s School Social Worker, but my fourth year working in schools providing and coordinating mental health and wellness services. I received my undergraduate degree in Human Services at Northeastern University in 2016. After living in Boston for four years, I returned home to San Jose to attend graduate school. I received my Masters in Social Work from San Jose State University in 2019.
Middle school was a challenging time for me, and unfortunately my school did not have any resources or supports for student mental health. This is exactly why I decided to pursue a career in School Social Work, so that I could be the person I needed when I was younger.
