In this class, students will be placed on a specific voice part (soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone) depending on the range of their voices and the needs of the choir. They will get to be part of the Sylvandale music concerts that will take place during the school year.

In this class, students will gain the skills needed to write and perform contemporary or popular music. The focus of the class will be singing and guitar playing, but there will also be units on piano, drums, bass and songwriting. These students will also get to be a part of the Sylvandale music concerts that will take place during the school year.
